The GDRC Inc. is a not-for-profit organization based in Gagetown, NB founded in 1976. This entity is completely driven by volunteer board members within the Village limit who seek a passion and aspiration for providing quality recreational pursuits to all members of the community. We provide an array of programs, services, supports, and opportunities to our membership. 


It is recognized and financially supported by the Government of Canada, Tourism, Heritage and Culture (Sport and Recreation branch). The GDRC Inc. is administered by a twelve-member Board of Directors and is supported by two staff members.


The GDRC Inc. Board of Directors consists of an Executive Committee that includes an elected President, Vice President, Treasurer and a Treasurer, as well as elected officers. 


With funding annually provided by Tourism, Heritage and Culture, membership fees, partnerships and sponsorships; the GDRC Inc. develops new programming to target various segments of it’s membership.

Why we do it!

We believe sport & recreation include everything from play to sport to arts and culture and outdoor pursuits. All are essential for creating beautiful and thriving communities that foster a healthy and happy lifestyle.
